Wines of the Estate
Our first two red Montravel from the 2020 vintage finally came out of barrel after 24 months of aging. These wines are powerful, expressive, deeply colored, with ample fruit, supple and silky tannins; wines with a French identity, but an international soul. Our white Montravel continue to express their majesty, with powerful aromatics, silkiness, and great balance. Our range of red, dry and sweet Bergerac, delicious and fruity, is also available for sale at this time.
Bergerac Rood
Wine mainly composed of Merlot with a hint of Cabernet Franc. Deep purple color. Elegant nose of black and red fruits. Rich mouthfeel, round, with silky tannins and notes of raspberries.

Wine assembled from Sémillon, Sauvignon Gris and Sauvignon Blanc. Ripe, aromatic, floral and fruity with a hint of minerality.

In 2021, Semillon makes up the majority of the blend, accompanied by Sauvignon Blanc. Very expressive aromatics dominated by honey, white flower, and citrus. Balanced and textured. Perfect for a summer aperitif.

Blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon aged in oak barrels. Expressive, bright, aromas of red fruits, kirsched cherry, and dark chocolate. Firm tannins. Long persistence in the mouth.

Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, and Sémillon are fermented and aged in barrels. This wine will be a ripe and aromatic offering, with a palate of fresh citrus, peach, and vanilla.

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris, vinified and aged in barrels. A wine with a heady aroma of ripe stone fruits, citrus, and spices. The palate is round and voluminous, but remains fresh and tight. It is a wonderfully elegant wine of great sophistication.
Technical SheetMontravel Rouge "Reserve"
Mainly composed of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, this wine comes from the finest barrels of our best vineyards. A real powerhouse: full bodied, dark, with explosives aromas of ripe black fruits, complex and spicy. On the palate, this wine is voluminous and balanced. A wine that can be enjoyed now, but that will keep cellared for many years. Available by the end of 2022.
